It is with great sadness that we remember Bridie Egan of Drumcondra, Dublin, who passed away peacefully on Monday, 29th June 2026, in the wonderful care of the Newpark Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family.
Bridie was a devoted wife and mother who built a warm and loving home in Drumcondra. She will be remembered with great affection by her family and all those whose lives she touched through her kindness and presence in the local community.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank. Bridie is survived by her sons Jim, Frank, Paul and Joe, her daughters-in-law, her grandchildren Sarah, David, Rebecca, Hannah, Jack, Cian, Amy and Charlie, her great-grandchildren Frankie and Theo, her brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Bridie will repose at The Fanagan – Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Wednesday, 1st July from 5pm until 7pm. Her funeral will take place on Thursday, 2nd July at Corpus Christi Church, Homefarm Road, arriving for 10am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery. The funeral service will be available to view online.
Her family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care provided at Newpark Care Centre.
