RIP.ie Galway:- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen McGoey (née Meehan), a beloved resident of Ballyara, Tubbercurry, Sligo, and formerly of Glenamaddy, Galway, and Englishtown, Glenamaddy. Eileen passed away peacefully on 27th November, 2024, at North West Hospice, Sligo, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Nora and James Meehan, brother Jimmy Meehan, and her sister Mary Coen, Eileen is sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Matthew, children Gerard, Alan, Enda, Claire, and Karen, daughters-in-law Amy, Daniela, and Nicola, sons-in-law Paul and Richie, grandchildren Ella, Eoin, Mira, Katherina, Rebecca, Matthew, Tadhg, Eanna, Hannah, Sophie, Ronan, and Leah, relatives, kind neighbours, and friends.
Rip Galway Death Notices today – Funeral Arrangement
Reposing will take place at Coen’s Funeral Home, The Square, Tubbercurry, F91 P668, on Friday, 29th November, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with removal to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Tubbercurry, arriving at 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, 30th November, at 11:30 a.m. with her interment thereafter in Rhue Cemetery. House is private, please.
