It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carmel Collins (née Kirwan), who peacefully departed this life on December 8, 2024, at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family and staff at the Mountbellew Nursing Home.
Carmel was predeceased by her parents, her husband Paddy, and her brothers John Joe, Tom, and Frankie. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Dermot, her children Martin, Anne, and Joseph, daughter-in-law Fiona, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends.

Reposing at St. Patrick’s Funeral Home beside St. Patrick’s Church, Fohenagh on Tuesday, December 10, from 5 pm, with removal at 7 pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Fohenagh.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 11, at 12 pm, followed by burial in Fohenagh Cemetery.
