It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa O’Hora (née Buckley), who peacefully departed this life on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Garbally View Nursing Home and Dunlo Medical Centre, surrounded by her loving family.
Teresa was predeceased by her parents James and Christina Buckley, her brothers Seamus and Tommy, and her daughter-in-law Mairin (Lydon O’Hora). She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband Dick (ex-Garda Siochana), her beloved children, Mary, Anne Handy (Clara), Bernadette (Oatfield, Cappatagle), Angela Poland (Aughrim), and Michael (Navan), her brother Jack Buckley (Leixlip), sons-in-law Niall and Ron, Bernadette’s partner Ivan, her adored grandchildren Sorcha, Mark, Cian, Myles, Emma, and Jeff, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.
May Teresa’s gentle soul rest in peace.
Teresa’s Funeral Arrangement – RIP Galway Death Notices Today
Reposing at Grenham’s Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Tuesday, December 10, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Private removal on Wednesday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.

Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Patient Comfort Fund Portiuncula University Hospital.
