It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Walsh (née Brick), Strand Road, Tralee, Kerry. Doreen departed this life peacefully on February 20th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Doreen was the beloved wife of the late Denis and dearest mother of Martin and Denise. She was predeceased by her siblings Paddy, Eily, Bridie, and Ann. Her passing leaves a great void in the lives of her loving family, including her grandchildren Dara, Cillian, and Sarah, son-in-law Edgar (McGrath), brother-in-law Frank Fitzell, sister-in-law Mary Brick, nephews, nieces, relatives, and many friends.
Doreen’s family and friends will deeply miss her love, kindness, and generosity. Her legacy of devotion and care will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral Arrangement of
Reposing at The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Sunday, February 23rd, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Doreen’s funeral will arrive at St. John’s Church, Tralee, on Monday morning at 9:30 am. The Requiem Mass for Doreen will be celebrated at 10:00 am (streamed on (http://www.stjohns.ie/)). Interment will follow in New Rath Cemetery.
