It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rory O’Connor, Dalkey, Dublin. Rory departed this life peacefully on February 22nd, 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff at Ashford House Nursing Home, with his family by his side, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rory was the beloved husband of Vera. He will be sadly missed by his wife, brother Robert, sister Emer, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Remembering also his late brothers and sisters, Maeve, Hugh, Cormac, Clare, Owen, and Brian.
Rory’s family and friends will deeply miss his love, kindness, and generosity. His legacy of devotion and care will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral Arrangement of Rory O’Connor
Removal on Tuesday, February 25th, to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, arriving for 10 am Funeral Mass, which can be viewed online at the provided link, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium.
