It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Barry-Melly (née Sheridan), Castleknock, Dublin, and formerly of Cornafean, Cavan. Maureen departed this life peacefully on February 24th, 2025, in the loving care of the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park.
Maureen was the beloved wife of the late Malachy and John and much-loved mother of Noelle. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, grandchildren Conor and Kyle, sister Eileen, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Maureen was predeceased by her brothers James and Patrick (Sheridan).
Maureen’s family and friends will deeply miss her love, kindness, and generosity. Her legacy of devotion and care will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral Arrangement of Maureen Barry-Melly (née Sheridan)
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown, on Wednesday evening, February 26th, between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Thursday morning, February 27th, to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.
