  • by

It is with great sadness that we remember Brendan Kennedy, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2026, in the caring hands of the staff at Leopardstown Care Centre. Originally from Dublin City, Brendan had made his home in Bray, Co. Wicklow, where he was surrounded by his loving family in his final days.

Brendan was the devoted husband of the late Helen. Together they raised three daughters — Ruth, Daphne, and Helen — and he was a proud and loving father to them all. He was also a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to Christian, Ben, Richie, Harry-Ray, and Milo, bringing joy and warmth to every generation of his family. He is also remembered fondly by his sons-in-law Cyril, Ollie, and Karen.

Those who knew Brendan will remember a man who lived with quiet strength and deep family loyalty. His presence brought comfort and connection, whether through family gatherings in Bray or the many friendships he nurtured over the years. In Wicklow and beyond, he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
