It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bridget Leahy, Reacashla, Brosna, Kerry, and late of Victoria Road, Cork City. Bridget departed this life peacefully on February 20th, 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff of University Hospital Kerry, surrounded by her loving family.
Bridget was predeceased by her parents Michael and Nora. Her passing leaves a great void in the lives of her loving sisters Peg McAuliffe and Mary Leahy, her niece, nephews, all extended family, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
Bridget’s family and friends will deeply miss her love, kindness, and devotion. Her legacy of compassion, empathy, and generosity will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral Arrangement of Bridget Leahy
Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Church Street, Castleisland, on Friday evening, February 21st, from 6 pm to 8 pm, Bridget’s remains will be taken to St. Carthage’s Church, Brosna, on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11 am. Burial will take place afterwards in the New Cemetery, Brosna.
The Mass will be livestreamed on the St. Carthage’s Church Facebook Page.
