It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bridie O’Rourke (née Dillon), Lusk, Dublin, and formerly of Durrow, Laois. Bridie departed this life peacefully on February 23rd, 2025, at Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Bridie will be sadly missed by her beloved husband and best friend Joe, adoring children David, Yvonne, Deirdre, and reunited with her beautiful baby Michelle. She was predeceased by her sisters Maureen and Patricia and her brother William.

Bridie’s family and friends will deeply miss her love, kindness, and generosity. Her legacy of devotion and care will continue to inspire and guide us.
Deeply regretted by her brothers Martin and Paul, her daughter-in-law Janice, sons-in-law John and Morgan, beloved grandchildren Ciara, Cathal, Caoimhe, Odhrán, Dáire, Conor, Dillon, and Rían, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, friends, and neighbors.
May Bridie rest in peace. Her love, kindness, and devotion will never be forgotten.
