Bridie Porter (née Bermingham), Ashlawn, Loughrea, and formerly Clostoken, Loughrea, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully on Monday, 25th November 2024, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of Án Crannóg Unit, St. Brendan’s Community Nursing Home, Loughrea.

Predeceased by her brothers John and Tom, sisters Carmel, Margaret, and baby Elizabeth, and her nieces Jaqueline and Eleanor, Bridie will be forever missed by her loving husband and best friend Vincent, and her sons Kevin and Stephen, their partners Karen and Caroline.
May Bridie’s kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Funeral Details:
Bridie will lie in repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63), on Wednesday, 27th November from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass for Bridie in the Church of the Holy Family, Clostoken (H62 NP26) on Thursday, 28th November at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
