It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher (Christy) (Demo) Dempsey, Ventry Park, O’Devaney Gardens, and formerly of Greek Street, Dublin. Christy departed this life peacefully in the gentle care of the Mater Hospital, surrounded by the warmth of his devoted family.
Christy is now reunited with his beloved wife, Margie, and their precious infant son, Mark Anthony. He was a devoted father to Lily, Ellen, Deirdre, Catherina, Louise, and Sinead, and his love knew no bounds. His family was the heart of his world.

Christy is also now embracing his darling granddaughters, Naomi and Serena, and his dear sisters, Molly, Agnes, and Biddy, in heaven.
Formerly of O’Devaney Gardens and Greek Street, Christy was a man of kindness, humor, and deep love, leaving behind treasured memories for all who knew him.
He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, caring sons-in-law Gerard, Ken, Gary, and Robert, beloved sisters Ellen, Angela, Terry, Joanie, and Rose, brother Jack, as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbors, and his many dear friends.
May Christy’s gentle soul find eternal peace and joy in the embrace of those who have gone before him.
Christy will be reposing at his daughter Ellen’s home on Friday evening, February 28th, from 5 pm to 8 pm, where all who loved him are welcome to pay their respects.

Funeral Arrangement of Christopher (Christy) (Demo) Dempsey
His Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock in the Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street, followed by burial at Mount Jerome Cemetery.
