It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Madden (née Flynn), who peacefully departed this life on Saturday, December 7, 2024, after a prolonged illness bravely borne, surrounded by her beloved family and close friends, and in the tireless care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.
Kathleen was predeceased by her parents John and Bridget and her beloved brothers Gerard and John. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband John, son Gerard, sisters Eileen, Teresa, and Mary, John’s brother Tom and sister Mary, brother-in-law John, nephews and niece, relatives, neighbours, and friends.
May Kathleen’s gentle soul rest in peace.
Kathleen’s Funeral Arrangement – Rip galway death notices today
Reposing in Grenham’s Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Wednesday, December 11, from 5 pm, with removal at 7 pm to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe.
Requiem Mass for Kathleen will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilclooney Cemetery.
Kathleen’s Requiem Mass can be viewed via live stream on (https://www.churchservices.tv/ballinasloe).
House private, donations, if desired, to the Portiuncula Hospital Palliative care team.
