It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret (Peggy) Fitzgerald (née Purcell), Upper Tullig, Killorglin, Kerry. Peggy departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and the staff of University Hospital Kerry, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Peggy was predeceased by her beloved husband Billy. Her passing leaves a great void in the lives of her loving family, including her daughters Noreen, Eileen, and Mags, sons Tom and Liam, her dearly loved grandchildren, sisters Joanie, Eileen, and Kay, brother James, sons-in-law Donal and Ger, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.
Peggy’s family would like to thank the staff of University Hospital Kerry for their loving care and support. They would also like to express their gratitude to everyone who has offered kindness and support during this difficult time.
Funeral Arrangement of MARGARET (PEGGY) FITZGERALD .
Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, Killorglin, on Friday evening, February 21st, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Peggy’s remains will be removed to St. James’ Church, Killorglin. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22nd, at 10:30 am, followed by burial in Ardmoniel Cemetery.
