It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth O’Doherty (née Healy), Barleymount East, Killarney, Kerry, and formerly of Muckross, Killarney. Elizabeth departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in University Hospital Kerry on January 20th, 2025.
Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Owen and loving mother of Noreen, Batt, Anne, Florence, Gene, Seamus, and Paudi. She will be deeply missed by her son-in-law Donald, daughter-in-law Teresa, grand-daughters Shannen and Zarah, great-grand-daughter Saoirse, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.
Predeceased by her parents Florence and Hannah Healy and her sister Mary, Elizabeth’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. Her family and friends will cherish the memories of her kind heart, her generous spirit, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Funeral Arrangement of Elizabeth
Reposing at O’Shea’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 22nd, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Elizabeth’s funeral will proceed to Prince of Peace Church, Fossa, followed by Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11:00 am. Burial will take place afterwards in Aglish Cemetery.
