It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry O’Donoghue, Two Gneeves, Brosna, Co. Kerry, on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025. Surrounded by his loving family, Jerry departed this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and kindness.
Beloved husband of Ciss and loving father of Elma, Nick, and Karen, Jerry will be deeply missed by his sister Maureen and brother John, sons-in-law Kevin and Niall, grandchildren Seán, Ailbhe, Niamh, Sadbh, and Christian, brother-in-law Jerry, sisters-in-law Sue, Mary, and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.
Predeceased by his parents Nick and Eily and brother Tom, Jerry’s passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him. His love for his family, his community, and his friends was evident in all that he did, and his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral Arrangement Of Jerry O’Donoghue
Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44), on Wednesday, January 22nd, from 6:00 pm, with removal at 8:00 pm to St. Carthage’s Church, Brosna. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, January 23rd, at 12:00 pm, followed by interment afterwards in The New Cemetery, Brosna.
The Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on St. Carthage’s Church Brosna Facebook page.
