It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) Farrell, Bayside, Dublin 13, and late of the Glen Abbey, St. Lawrence’s Hotel, and the DAA. Joe departed this life peacefully on February 21st, 2025, in the care of Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Joe was the beloved husband of Breda and loving father of Jennifer, Bernadette, David, and Daniel. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, son-in-law Damien, daughters-in-law Edel and Ciara, his adored grandchildren Adam, Sarah, Aoife, Rebecca, and Oran, sister-in-law Ann, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbors.
Joe’s family and friends will deeply miss his love, kindness, and generosity. His legacy of devotion and care will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral Arrangement of Joseph (Joe) Farrell
Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock, on Monday, February 24th, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Removal to the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside, on Tuesday morning for 10 am Funeral Mass, followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
