It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Brophy (née Doorey), Trumera, Mountrath, Co. Laois, and formerly Ballintava, Dunmore, Co. Galway. Margaret passed away on 25th November 2024, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Community Unit Mountmellick.
Margaret’s Family Details
Beloved wife of Edward (Ted), and dear mother to Lorraine, Aoife (Keyes), Enda and Cathal, Margaret will be deeply missed by her family, grandchildren Dylan, Josh, Aoibheann, Cian, Saoirse and Eoghan, son-in-law David Keyes, daughters-in-law Niamh and Mary, sisters Ann, Chris, Kathleen and Carmel, brothers Jackie and Michael, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath on Tuesday evening (November 26th) from 5.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Wednesday morning (November 27th) to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.
