It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Nolan (née Brennan), Tawin, Oranmore, Galway. Margaret departed this life peacefully but suddenly at home, aged 97 years, on February 19th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband Michael, daughter Marian, infant son Tony, and parents Kate and Willie Brennan. Her passing leaves a great void in the lives of her loving family, including her son Michael, daughter Rena, daughter-in-law Lorraine, sons-in-law John and Gus, grandchildren Kate, Grace, Adam, Martin, Linda, Catriona, and Gustin, and great-grandchildren Una, Paudie, Tadhg, Bronagh, Charlie, and Mia.
Margaret’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her wonderful Carer and friend Josie Kelly, who provided loving care and support. Her neighbours and friends will also deeply miss her.
Funeral Arrangement of Margaret Nolan (née Brennan)
Reposing at Maree Pastoral Centre on the grounds of St. Joseph’s Church, Maree, on Saturday, February 22nd, from 5 pm to 7 pm, Margaret’s remains will be removed to the Church for Saturday evening Mass at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, February 23rd, at 2 pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Maree, followed by burial in Kilcaimin Cemetery.
