It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marian Stiffe (née Cloherty), Cloon, Claregalway, Galway. Marian departed this life peacefully on February 25th, 2025, in The Galway Hospice, with her loving family by her side.
Marian was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary and her brothers Sean, Martin, Micháel, and Patsy.
Marian will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Johnny, sons Patrick and John Paul, daughter Annette, brother Josie, daughter-in-law Marie, grandchildren Ian, Kelly, Khloe, and Freya, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and a wide circle of friends.
May Marian’s kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Funeral Arrangement of Marian Stiffe (née Cloherty)
Reposing in Síoraíocht within the grounds of The Church of The Assumption and Saint James, Claregalway, on Thursday, February 27th, from 4 pm. Removal at 6:30 pm to the adjacent Church. Marian’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, February 28th, at 11 am. Funeral afterwards to Claregalway Cemetery.
