It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen McGrath, Grange, Tullinadaly, Tuam, and in later years Annagh, Kilbannon, Tuam. Maureen departed this life peacefully on February 25th, 2025, in the exceptional care of the nurses and doctors in the ICU Unit, University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving nieces and family.
Maureen was predeceased by her partner Michael, parents Ann and Michael, brother Martin, and sister Nora. She will be sadly missed by her loving family; sister Chrissie, brothers Pat and Michael, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, her close neighbors in Grange and Kilbannon, and her many friends and family.
Maureen was adored and cherished by the O’Sullivan family, who will deeply miss her kindness and generosity.
Funeral Arrangement of Maureen McGrath
Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, High Street, Tuam, on Thursday, February 27th, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Requiem Mass for Maureen McGrath on Friday, February 28th, at 11:30 am in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam. Funeral afterwards to Kilclooney Cemetery, Milltown.
Family flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to the LauraLynn Children’s Hospice Foundation.
Maureen’s Funeral Mass will be streamed live on the Tuam Cathedral Webcam and broadcast on Parish Radio – 108FM.
