It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Micheál Ó’Móráin, Baile Riabhach, Dingle, Kerry. Micheál departed this life on February 19th, 2025, under the tender care of the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry.
Micheál’s passing leaves a great void in the lives of his loving family, including his wife Joan, children Micheál, Cristína, Brian, and Aeilín, sons-in-law Léan, Mark, Catherine, and Liam, grandchildren Cian, Seán, Tadhg, Éabha, and Fiadh, sister Mary, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and all his relatives.
Micheál will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. His love, kindness, and generosity touched the hearts of everyone he met, and his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
We remember Micheál’s parents, Maidhc and Lil, and his sister Kathleen, who predeceased him. May they all rest in peace.
Funeral Arrangement of Micheál Ó’Móráin
Micheál’s remains will be reposing at Tigh Tóraimh Uí Chonchúbhair, Dingle, on Friday evening from 3 pm to 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday in Séipéal Naomh Muire, followed by burial in Reilig Naomh Breandán, Baile an Mhuilinn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry.
