It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nicola Meehan, East Wall, Dublin, and formerly of Drumcondra. Nicola departed this life peacefully on February 18th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and joy that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Nicola was the beloved wife of Ian and the cherished mother of Dean, Lewis, and Abbie. Her love, kindness, and generosity touched the hearts of everyone she met, and her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
Nicola will be deeply missed by her heartbroken parents Lorraine and John, her loving sisters Avyril and Samantha, her mother-in-law Martina, as well as her adored nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, and neighbours.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at St. Francis Hospice for the exceptional care given to Nicola.
In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired, can be made to St. Francis Hospice.
Funeral Arrangement of Nicola Meehan
Nicola will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, North Strand, on Friday from 3 pm to 5 pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, East Wall, for Requiem Mass at 11 am, followed by cremation at Glasnevin at 1:30 pm.
