It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Padraic Hernon (Padraic Mhicilín), Eoghnacht, Inis Mór, Aran Islands, Co. Galway. Padraic departed this life peacefully on February 27th, 2025, in Áras Chois Fharraige.

Padraic was predeceased by his parents Cóilín and Mary, and his sisters Catherine and Geraldine. He will be deeply mourned by his sisters Maureen, Margaret, Monica, and Pauline, and his brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Funeral Arrangement of Padraic Hernon (Padraic Mhicilín)

Reposing at Naughtons Funeral Home (H91AF40) on Saturday, March 1st, from 2:00 pm, with removal at 4:00 pm to Rossavel Harbour for the ferry at 6:00 pm to Inis Mór, then on to Onaght Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Padraic on Sunday, March 2nd, at 12:30 pm, followed by burial at Reilig na Seacht dTeampall.
