It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia (Patty) O’Brien (née Murphy), Ballygall, Dublin. Patricia departed this life peacefully on February 21st, 2025, in the loving care of her family and the staff of Beneavin Manor Nursing Home.

Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband Noel and her only son Derek. Her passing leaves a great void in the lives of her heartbroken elder sister Phyllis, niece Fionnuala, grandnephew Aodán (whom she fondly called grandson), nephews Thomas, Patrick, Garret, Fergus, and Martin, sisters-in-law Marie and Trish, nieces, nephews, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, grandnieces, and grandnephews, and her close circle of friends.
Patricia’s family and friends will deeply miss her love, kindness, and generosity. Her legacy of devotion and care will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral Arrangement of Patricia (Patty) O’Brien (née Murphy)
Funeral on Wednesday morning, February 26th, to Our Mother of Divine Grace Church, Ballygall, for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass, followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, in lieu, to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.
Patricia’s family would like to sincerely thank the nursing and care staff of Beneavin Manor and the Palliative care team from St. Francis Hospice for the kind, loving care shown to Patricia.
