It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick (Paddy) Markey, late of Barry Drive and Casement Road, Finglas West and Cabra West, Dublin. Paddy departed this life peacefully on February 25th, 2025, at home in the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.
Paddy was the beloved husband of the late Julia and a devoted and cherished dad of Gerry, Mary, Patrick, and Elaine. He will be sadly and greatly missed by his sons and daughters, grandchildren Keith, Stephen, Jack, Ciara, Emma, Gary, Zach, and Adam, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Declan and Val, daughters-in-law Yvonne and Janet, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Funeral Arrangement of Patrick (Paddy) Markey
Funeral on Tuesday morning, March 4th, to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas, for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the carers from Hibernia Home Care who cared so lovingly for Paddy in recent times.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, in lieu to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.
