It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Barrett (née Farren), Howth, Dublin. Rita departed this life peacefully on February 25th, 2025, in the care of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, surrounded by her loving family.
Rita was the beloved wife of the late John and loving mother to Lorna, Janette, and Nicholas. She will be very sadly missed by her loving children, her adored grandchildren John, Rebecca, Aaron, and Jake, and great-grandchildren Robyn, Charley, and Sadie May, sons-in-law Kieran and Stephen, daughter-in-law Lindy, brothers Patrick, Dominic, and Barney, sisters-in-law Chris and Margaret, beloved nephew Jon, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbors.
May Rita rest in peace.
Funeral Arrangement of Rita Barrett (née Farren)
Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock, on Thursday, February 27th, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Removal to the Church of the Assumption, Howth, on Friday morning for 10 am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in the Old Abbey Cemetery, Howth.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
