It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Treasa Uí Choisdealbha (née Ní Ghamhnáin), Doireadha, Ballinahown, Galway, on February 22nd, 2025. Treasa departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at University Hospital Galway.
Treasa was a devoted wife, mother, and former Primary School Teacher of Scoil Cholmcille, Rossaveal. She will be deeply mourned by her son Pádraig, daughters Bernadette, Christine, and Eimear, brother John (America), sisters Eileen (Dublin) and Philomena (Kerry), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
Treasa’s family and friends will deeply miss her love, kindness, and generosity. Her legacy of devotion and care will continue to inspire and guide us.
Funeral Arrangement of Treasa Uí Choisdealbha (née Ní Ghamhnáin)
Reposing at Naughton’s Funeral Home, Knock, Inverin, on Tuesday, February 25th, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Treasa on Wednesday, February 26th, in Cill Treasa Church, Rossaveal, at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Maoghraos Cemetery, Ballinahown.
